Lindsay + Ty {sausalito wedding reception}

Lindsay and Ty decided to skip the pomp and circumstance of a big wedding and elope. They were married on February 29 and last week they joined friends and family at Ondine in Sausalito to celebrate their newly wedded bliss. And blissful they were – their love really shined through and their family and friends were so fun. My abs got a (much needed) workout from all the laughing we did.

Jill + Jonathan {south lake tahoe wedding photography}

Small, intimate weddings are so special. Jill and Jonathan’s wedding at the Valhalla Grand Hall in the Tallac Historical Site in South Lake Tahoe was all three of those – small, intimate and special. The Grand Hall is a beautiful old building right on the lake – all wooden and rustic yet refined. Unfortunately it was freezing outside and very windy so we ended up doing most of the shots indoors. Jill and Jonathan did brave the lakeside for a very quick session on the dock before we sprinted back inside to warm up with some food and dancing.

Slideshow here.

Abby {hello, sweetness}

Good friends Kieran and Tiffany had a new baby – Abigail Elizabeth – and yesterday she was 3 weeks old. I was lucky enough to be around to commemorate the event. By their account, she is all things wonderful – a good sleeper, eater and little sister to Jack. I know, everybody thinks their kid is the bee’s knees (oh yes I did) but personal observation leads me to believe that in this case they ain’t lyin’. Abby was very patient (and extra cute) for her first modeling session.

Yvonne + Simon {san francisco belly session}

I met up with Yvonne and Simon in Golden Gate Park last week. They are having a baby girl soon and we spent the afternoon at a few choice locations. They live in Sunnyvale and had never been to the park before(!) so it was fun to show them around. Everything is green and blooming and, though it threatened to rain, the weather cooperated and made for a really good day.
